Privacy Notice
This notice has been prepared by Digitarius ("Digitarius", "we") as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") to inform visitors of digitarius.com.tr and users of the contact form.
This English text is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version at digitarius.com.tr/gizlilik prevails.
1. Data controller
The "Digitarius" brand is operated by a natural-person data
controller working independently (freelance) and based in Istanbul.

Once the incorporation of a commercial company is complete, this section will be updated with the trade name, address and registry details.
2. Which personal data do we process?
- Contact form: your full name, email address and any information you share in your message.
- Measurement data (only if you consent): data collected via cookies through Google Analytics — approximate location based on IP address, device/browser information and on-site behavior.
- Preference records: your cookie choice and whether the intro animation has been shown are kept in your browser's local storage; these records are never transmitted to us.
3. Purposes and legal bases of processing
- Contact form data is processed to respond to your request and to run proposal/strategy discussions, on the legal bases of KVKK art. 5/2-c ("directly related to the conclusion of a contract") and art. 5/2-f ("legitimate interest").
- Measurement data is processed to understand how the site is used and to improve the experience, based solely on your explicit consent (cookie consent). If you do not consent, no cookies are written; you can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
4. Transfers of data
- FormSubmit: contact form messages reach our email through FormSubmit, a form delivery service whose servers are located abroad. This cross-border transfer is based on the explicit consent (KVKK art. 9) you give by ticking the checkbox in the form; the form cannot be submitted without it.
- Google (Google Analytics): if you give cookie consent, measurement data is transferred to Google LLC, whose servers are located abroad. This transfer is based on your explicit consent.
- Beyond this, your data is not shared with third parties, sold, or transferred for advertising purposes.
5. Retention period
Contact form records are kept for at most 2 years after your request is concluded; if a business relationship is established, they are kept for the duration of the contract and any statutory retention periods. Google Analytics user data is configured to be retained for at most 14 months.
6. Cookie policy
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): visit measurement; written only if you consent. Retained for at most 2 years.
- Local storage (not cookies): digitarius_consent (your cookie choice) and digitarius_intro (whether the intro animation has played this session). These records never leave your device.
No other advertising or tracking cookies are used on the site. If you decline cookie consent, only cookieless, identity-free technical signals are sent to Google.
7. Your rights under KVKK
Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request erasure or destruction; request that these operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to a result arising against you from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer damages.
